Wild Turkey probably does not need to be presented to anyone, on our pages we have hosted the classic Wild Turkey 81 and Russell’s Reserve Small Batch 10 years old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Today tasting impressions of Rare Breed, which is characterized by bottling with the power of the barrel – Barrel Proof – 112.8 Proof, 56.8% ABV. So we have one of the most natural versions, as I like.

C: dark amber;

N: still in the bottle it is a full, slightly burned sweetness, no trace of alcohol irritation, in the glass also very sweet with a little traces of smoke, only after a few breaths there are typical Bourbon elements that decided to show up, I have a vanilla, a lot of coconut, honey, caramel, hard candy, classic Haribo, Werthers Original etc., do we have here any fruits?…. yes, but mostly candied, such as oranges, pineapples then boiled corn with butter, from time to time still a little smoke, a distant campfire; after a few drops of water it has become more typical, that is, the earlier tones have become even more pronounced;

T: thick and intense, fat with a healthy sparks on the tongue, of course sweet with vanilla, caramel and candy, also with candied orange, pineapple, grapefruit and ginger, with time, the level of bitterness increases, let’s try to add water – the water smoothes the barrel’s power and highlights the individual flavors;

F: medium long with grapefruit and ginger.

Score: 86.

Wild Turkey Rare Breed Barrel Proof 112.8 Proof 56.4% ABV is a solid Bourbon. Taste beautifully coincides with the smell. High power gives you the ability to add water and study changes.

    Reasumując dobry burbon chociaż do blantonsa mu daleko. Pozdrawiam

Pozdrawiam.
