Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7

Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7

Tennessee Whiskey.

My whisky collection Testing / Tasting
(77 points)

Jack Daniel’s is an American product that comes from Lynchburg, Tennessee, hence Tennessee Whiskey. Jack has already appeared on the blog on the occasion of the acquisition by Dom Whisky in Jastrzębia Góra whole barrel (link to the post about it).
Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 – we all well know it, its popularity in Poland continues to grow and you can often meet it at all events, with coke, ice and other more sophisticated drinks. Today I decided to see how it tastes without watering down.

Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7

C: amber;

N: very sweet, vanilla, caramel, fudge, honey but also slightly soury, like two drops of lemon, to all that grapefruit, orange peel and delicate alcoholic irritation of the nose, somewhere in the distance traces of smoke or charcoal, or maybe it’s just a self-suggestion 😉 ;

T: here it is sweet with vanilla and caramel too, but also with a ripe grapefruit, candied orange and a touch of lime, ginger and further intensifying bitterness;

F: rather short with grapefruit.

Score: 77.

Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 is a good whiskey, suitable for sipping without any dilution, but if you want it to be mixed, of course it will go well with that.

Jedynie do podania w wersji zmieszanej.
