Grant’s is a blended whisky. The brand belongs to William Grant & Sons. Immediately attracts the eye with characteristic triangular bottle, as in Glenfiddich.
Today I have in my glass 12 year old version and I’m curious about the tasting impressions.
N: pretty fruity, plums, oranges, apples, lots of mineral notes and a little grain, but not unpleasant, then vanilla, raisins and traces of nuts, honey, quite a bit of honey and delicate traces of smoke;
T: ripe fruits, orange, peach, lemon drop, a little grain, after that increasing warmth of alcohol gets the voice, grapefruit with a mild bitterness and a little bit of nuts;
F: medium length with grapefruit and gentle tingling.
A good example of blend that you can drink without dilution.
