On the blog Bruichladdich has appeared, it was peated version Bruichladdich Port Charlotte An Turas Mor. Today in a holiday mood – Bruichladdich Laddie Classic Edition 1. Natural color, unchillfiltered and 46% ABV. I bought this bottle while a visit to the distillery on Islay. It’s been a while since then so I sholuld think about a new visit :).
N: very fruity, slightly peppery, you have to let it breathe, then sweet, but without exaggeration, something like biscuits, shortbread, candied oranges, grapefruit, pear, vanilla, deeper I find smth metallic;
T: sparkles on the tongue, almost inflames, gives a little sweetness with vanilla, here I have biscuits, shortbread too, a touch of honey, then orange, mandarin and peach, it is fresh with mint, melissa, lemon peel;
F: long with traces of grapefruit and wood, sweet with vanilla.
Properly made whisky, comprehensive and balanced, although the taste manifests elements of youth. Suitable for a friend for everyday sipping. A holiday dram.
