Not so long ago a courier knocked at my door handing a mysterious silver suitcase. I completely did not know what was going on, it was only after breaking into the interior that the Glenlivet Code and the equally mysterious black tasting glass were hidden. This can also be done using the application found on the manufacturers website. Interesting fun for all those who want to test themselves in the whisky tasting. The age, the barrels, and of course the aroma and taste sensations remain a mystery waiting to be discovered. N: still in the bottle the smell reminds me of hydrated raisins, fresh bread, slightly yeasty, malty, then red fruit, apples, peach, vanilla; after pouring into a glass I first felt light alcohol vapors and ginger, the tones I felt straight from the bottle went somewhere in the background, now I have more toffee and caramel, but I also get ripe apples, candied orange, peach and dried apricot, immediately after that it gets very smooth, even creamy, later I discovered a cappuccino, nice; S: the taste seems more severe, I have ginger, grapefruit, orange skin and pineapple, there are clear traces of wood, also cinnamon, cardamom, I still have an apple and a peach, with time increasing dryness with a company of ginger; F: even long with ginger and remnants of wood, dry.
