from Gordon & MacPhail to Wealth Solutions.
Recently, I mentioned about the next collectible whisky offered by Wealth Solutions SA from Warsaw. To the wider public the name of the distillery was shrouded in mystery. It was only known that it is a single malt, distilled in 1948 and bottled in 2014, ie 66 years old. Now it’s all clear, it was about Glen Grant from Gordon & MacPhail.
Presentation of Glen Grant 1948 was preceded by a tasting of many single malts from Gordon & MacPhail resources, including Port Ellen, Brora, Rosebank, St Magdalene or Caperdonich.
Special guests were Charles MacLean and Michael Urquhart, and the evening was conducted by Maciej Orłoś. It is worth to highlight that the even was broadcasted online.
Glen Grant 1948, 66 years old is one of the oldest single malts of the World. Soon, I will write about my tasting impressions.
Bravo to Wealth Solutions SA for presenting the next gem in Poland. Previous single malts are Glenfarclas 1953, 58 years old and Karuizawa 1964.
