New spot on a whisky map.
Dom Whisky Jastrzebia Gora that I wrote previously about has opened new whisky bar in the centre of Warsaw, Krucza Street 16.
In Jastrzebia Gora one person is the owner of two neighbouring places dedicated to alcohol drinks – Dom Whisky and Coctail Bar Max. In Warsaw you have two in one, that does not exclude some diversity, as you have two rooms out there. The first with half round bar and tables is the Coctail Bar Max. The second, behind the bar in the depth of the place is the Dom Whisky.
In the Dom Whisky room, along the wall they set nice, soft sofa, there are round tables with the base made of barrels and some heavy wooden chairs. The entire wall opposite the sofa is full of whisky, set on wooden shelves.
Dom Whisky room is not particularly extensive, but instead makes a very intimate and cozy atmosphere. One drawback may be the possibility of smoking in this room, which obviously can distort experience of tasting whisky. Fortunately, during my visit, no one was smoking, so I could enjoy the water of life not disrupted. This time I tasted Springbank 175 and Scapa 12 years old.
Dom Whisky deserves great congratulations because of the opening the second space devoted to whisky and wishes of success in future development. In Poland, there is a shortage of places where you can explore the World of Whiskey, and to get expert, familiar information. Dom Whisky, as in Jastrzebia Gora, as in Warsaw, ideally fills the gap.
Thanks for Padre, for a tour of the new site and the introduction of the secrets of its creation.
